Jason and Alexia Preston sit down once again with Tom Stallings for an emotional and disturbing update on the Michael Jensen case and the legal battle surrounding allegations that LDS Church leaders failed to protect children from a known threat. Tom recounts his family’s experience in West Virginia, where Michael Jensen was eventually convicted of sexually abusing children. According to Tom’s testimony and the court records discussed in this episode, multiple church leaders had received reports and warnings about Jensen’s behavior before he was placed in the Stallings family home.

Jason and Alexia Preston welcome Justin Riggs back for a difficult investigation into how abuse allegations have been handled within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its legal system. Using court records, deposition testimony, emails, and other documentation, Justin examines the experiences of Michelle Nielsen and Gina Johnson Pemberton, two women who independently reported allegations connected to Bluffdale, Utah. Their accounts raise serious questions about the role of Kirton McConkie, the LDS abuse hotline, church leadership, attorney-client privilege, and what happens when victims seek help from an institution whose lawyers are also responsible for protecting that institution.

Jason and Alexia Preston are joined by researcher Justin Riggs for an in-depth discussion examining the historical context behind allegations of ritual abuse in Utah. Justin presents a historical hypothesis, drawing from historical documents, church publications, university records, and public archives to explore whether secret societies, fraternities, and influential networks may have shaped institutions over generations. The conversation examines how these historical developments could relate to the challenges many survivors say they face when seeking justice today.

On this sacred anniversary of American independence, Jason Preston steps back to reflect on the 250-year legacy of the Constitution, the document that flipped the script on human history, making "we the people" the rulers instead of the ruled. In this solo episode, Jason breaks down sobering research on how most constitutions in history barely last two decades, and asks the hard question: what happens now that America stands at the same crossroads our founding fathers once faced?
